INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – It was a clean sweep for Indiana Republicans in the statewide offices up for grabs Tuesday. The win is exciting enough, but party leaders were more enthused by the history made.
For the first time, three women sat atop the state’s ticket. And also, for the first time, those three women won.
Connie Lawson, Suzanne Crouch, and Kelly Mitchell were all picked by voters for some of the state’s highest posts.
